The Dave Cress Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2002 by Southern alumni and friends in honor of Dave's leadership in the Georgia-Cumberland Conference and his passion for serving young people. Tournament proceeds and donations have provided more than $50,000 to help students attend Southern. Each year students receive about $2,000 from the interest earned on this endowment.
